garden of earthly delights

I have single-handedly revived a gifted basil plant that was on the brink of death. I'm feeling very confident in the almost emerald color of my thumb. The whole situation (plus this article from the New York Times) has got me thinking about growing my own indoor garden. Our apartment window has lovely natural light that would easily be able to sustain all the herbs we would need for a summer full of cooking. Just because I'm gardening indoors doesn't mean I can't dream of all the fun I could have lazying about a garden using the items above. . .
