i'm still not over. . . olsen style

Say what you must about "boho-chic"/"dumpster chic" style of the Olsen Twins of yesteryear. I too am over it. What I'm not over is the individual styles of  Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.  They both have come so far with their fashion. Yes, they have had their ups (see below and more here and here) and downs (fuzzy headband à la the Quacker Factory lady, really Mary-Kate?). But really, if you're not taking risks you're not a fashion icon. . . and I think Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are definitely icons. I adore them for their individuality and passion for clothes, and that is why, I'm still not over Olsen style.

i'm still not over . . .  cat people

When one thinks of cat people they tend to have images of crazy ladies with stinky homes. But lately I feel like cat popularity has surged  thanks, in no small part, to The Catorialist a spoof on the famed photo blog, The Sartorialist .  And who can say no to a cute cat photo? Certainly not cat people (and hopefully not you- because more are below)
